I am officially a member of pinterest and could not be more excited. After being on the waitlist for about a week now my boss invited me to be a member yippppie! It's my newest addiction and not a bad one at that. I re-organized my entire kitchen and I am so proud of it. Here are a few Valentine's Day ideas that I have found that I plan to do.

7 days till Christmas

I have been searching up and down for the LeapPad by Leapfrog it is sort of like the Ipad but child proof so if she drops it I will not have a heart attack because it was only $99.99 well maybe a little heart attack- This toy is Sold out Everywhere!!! Sold out online sold out in every store- finally last night I received an email from Toys R Us that said they had a shipment in for Sunday morning and I was determined to be there when the doors opened at 6am to get that ticket. Sure enough the Toys R Us down the road from our house had a limited supply and I got one in pink. Though the age range is 4-7 on this thing I think this 2 1/2 year old will have no problems. So worth the two hours of sleep I missed this morning.

My Christmas shopping is done and I am so thankful- this year I did most of my shopping online, and everything I got besides the LeapPad came from the Disney Store. Mackenzie loves Disney Princess. She wears her Halloween costume/shoes/crown everyday. Everyday when we get home from school she begs and begs that she can put her Cinderella costume on and I can't turn that little face down.



I found this website called AshtonDrake and they have baby dolls that look exactly like a newborn baby. It's kind of scary, anyway I found a Cinderella doll and thought it would be such a fun surprise for Mackenzie then I looked at the price $149.99 ridiculous. I already have Mackenzie 2 baby dolls for Christmas and I just could not let myself buy her a third, maybe for her Birthday. You can find it at Amazon for $99.99 Cinderella Baby Doll.

I am weird because...

I love pickles and celery sandwiches.

I read magazines and newspapers from back to front.

I prefer to eat everything out of a bowl.

I must smell food before I eat it.

I love the smell of gasoline.

I never have my phone ringer on.

I would rather stay in than go out.

I never take work off in the summer.

I don't believe in second chances.

I talk too much.

I can't guarantee that I'll always physically be "there".

I can guarantee that I will emotionally be "there".

I am trustworthy, loyal, and genuine.

I always tell my friends when they have food in their teeth.

I enjoy sending cards in the mail.

I will stand up for and defend my friends in half a heartbeat.

I am someone my friends can come to when they are happy, sad, mad, and embarrassed.

I am sad because...

I miss my family.

Some days I can't help but wonder "What if?"

Days go by too fast.

I am happy because...

I have the best friend a girl could ask for

I have finally developed a consistent, healthy lifestyle.

I woke up this morning.

I don't have any reason to not be happy.

I am excited for...

Christmas.

A New Year.

Graduating.

A brand spanking new car.

Dear Mackenzie,

I cannot believe it has been an entire year since the day we first met. Love at first sight cannot even describe the feeling I had when you were placed in my arms. Your beauty surpasses all the beauty that I had ever known, and I know that God has given me the most important job in the world; to be your mommy.

You are perfect. Your soft white skin and baby blue eyes, and that tongue have brought me joy everyday. You bring a smile to my face. You are an amazing gift from God that I intend to treasure for a lifetime. I love you.

Mackenzie's First Birthday Party

This past weekend we celebrated Mackenzie's First Birthday! We had her party at Adam's dads house in Baytown. This is one party we will never forget =). Besides the horrible Thunderstorm everything turned out pretty nice if I do say so myself.

Papaw decided it was time to pass down his rocking chair.
Papaw got this rocking chair when he was a toddler, when he got the chair it was already 50 years old. He then passed it on down to my dad.
Now it is Mackenzie's chair! This chair is 109 yrs old according to Papaw
